Inspiration for December

We appreciate the fact that we are alive. This simple statement creates a feeling of happiness within us. We feel that a vast field of possibilities is open to us and we feel connected to other beings in a very fundamental way. We are alive, and because we are alive we have the opportunity to do something that affects not only our own lives but the lives of countless other beings.
